Coleman was born in Lancashire, and born in Blackpool. She attended Arnold School Blackpool as head girl. She scored every A grade for her A level examinations. In response to questions about her Emmerdale role she stated she regretted having not had a traditional university experience. Coleman worked with a group known as In Yer Space at her school. They presented Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. Along with receiving a prize for her acting, the production she performed was well received. Coleman won the Emmerdale character Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with the drama school. Coleman received two nominations for awards in 2007. She won Best Newcomer at the British Soap Awards and Most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. In 2009, the British Soap Awards 2009 nominated Coleman in category of Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman was also nominated as Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. The 21st of March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat made it clear at a press conference that Coleman will as the Doctor's companion along with Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat said that he chose Coleman for the role of companion due to her ability to work best with Smith. Additionally, Moffat noted that she talked faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the field since 1987. She has appeared in numerous films and TV projects. But, she's more popular for her television projects rather than movies. Eva has played a variety of characters on TV, however two stand out: Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as Detective Natalia Boa Vistas which was in CSI Miami. This particular show gave Eva two nominations for a 'Daytime Emmy. Additionally, she was able to showcase her creativity through music. Eva is also a philanthropist, entrepreneur and an philanthropist. Eva is married to three men and has an infant from the third.
