Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress, best known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began as a stage actor in the 1950s and began at the age of Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. After that, she performed in a several Broadway productions before she became the most famous on stage alongside Li'l Abner in. The singer also released her debut music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. The film was a huge success, and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She attended Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. Her most memorable performance came from 1964, after she joined CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise continued to juggle her work well with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood portraying somber characters as opposed to her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. She has also established herself as a well-known and respected director of popular television shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was Essex on August 28, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three and she continued to live there throughout her childhood and adolescence. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver at the age of 17 and was there ever since.
