Tina Louise was an American actor, performer, and writer, best known by the name of Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. After that, she performed in a variety of Broadway productions before she became an international star alongside Li'l Abner in. In the same year, she launched her first album of music It's the Time for Tina. Louise began her journey into Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Big Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise received the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In the course of this film, she was began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her most memorable performance came through in 1964 when she joined CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise did a great job juggling Broadway and Hollywood. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in recent years she also has made an impact as a successful director in many well-known shows on television including Supernatural or The 100. Her birthplace was Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent the majority of her childhood and teenage years. After being chosen in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there since then.
