Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer as well as an animal rights activist. Her movies include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). Born and raised in a family of artists in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of art. She started as a photography assistant and after that she moved on to acting and modeling. She was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as an aspiring young actor. MacGraw became a global star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. Within just three short films, she became the top female box-office star across the globe. At Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she had her handprints and signature engraved. She has starred in several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
